Here’s how to make a box from old greeting cards:
Cut off the cover of a greeting card. Trim to desired size.
Fold up an equal amount on each side, such as one inch (solid blue lines).
Flatten. Cut a slit in each corner (red dashed lines).
Fold the sides up and wrap the tabs. Tape, staple or glue to secure.
To make a lid for the box, use an equal size greeting card (or use the other half of the original). Follow step 2, and then trim a small amount (1/4 inch) off all sides before continuing to steps 3 and 4.
